There’s a fascinating and free new exhibition at the Battersea Power Station in London to brighten dark winter nights. The first Light Festival opened last week and runs until 16th February. The exhibition consists of four innovative and spectacular installations at Circus West Village.

Visitor interaction is encouraged in Action Reaction 2.0 which encourages you to make exquisite patterns on a huge screen. Meanwhile an interactive neon sign, This Is It Be Here Now sparkles and crackles delightfully. Eternal Sundown explores the subliminal colours and hues between sunset and dawn. Meanwhile the two huge heads in Talking Heads use changing colours to display facial expressions and reactions to each other.

The Light Festival can be found at Circus Rd W, Battersea, London SW11 8AH. It’s easy to get to by public transport being close to Vauxhall Station and Battersea power Station River Bus Pier. Buses include 44, 137, 156, 344, 436 and 452.
